This is my little nook, and you are very welcome! I hope it will encourage you and brighten your day. The purpose of The Voyage is to enrich this journey we call Life. There is so much to learn every day, sometimes I forget. It helps to record it. Sometimes it's nice just to put out a fun idea, experience, or verse and let others expand on it. Maybe somebody has done or thought the exact same thing!
Instead of this blog being about me, I want it to be about God first and foremost, and second about people, and third about how to glorify my Lord and Savior more each day. The least I can do is the best I can. Most times our tasks in life are not glorious by any means. But if it is what Jesus wants, then it is wonderful and I want to do my best at it.
I pray that there will be enough evidence to convict me of my devotion to Him, and that as I grow older, I will grow closer to Him through my consistent practice and fine-tuning of my faults and weaknesses. Much of this will be practical thoughts on general life, housekeeping, gardening, animal-keeping, clothing, etc. I hope I will meet many new friends through this effort, with whom I can share life. Please, friend, enjoy what you read here, and throw in your own thoughts! I look forward to hearing from you!
